It seems that TSM's Dyrus inadvertently revealed Dignitas' secret strategy ahead of their S2WC game against CLG EU.
Sometimes it takes days or weeks for esports drama to build up, but sometimes it happens overnight. Marcus "Dyrus" Hill has caused controversy over something that happened weeks ago, with this video apology to Dignitas and their fans. The top laner from TSM said sorry for accidentally telling CLG about Dignitas' secret "roaming Taric" strategy ahead of the two teams meeting at the world finals. He also let slip to Wickd that the American team would play a bruiser in mid lane to counter Froggen.
Dyrus admitted that his team had lost to the tactic four games in a row during practice. He believes that it could have given Dignitas the edge in a game they ended up losing. "It put Dignitas on tilt," said Dyrus. "It also put my team on tilt because I'd be come a liability." Whether or not it would have changed the results of the American we'll never know, but Dyrus believes that neither of the North American teams played at 100% because of his mistake.
