Ilya "Sonik" Malish picks up his fourth ZOTAC WarCraft 3 Cup title after last Saturday's 3-2 win over Jong Seok "Reprisal" Lee.
Ukraine, Russia and Korea once again dominate the ZOTAC WarCraft Cups as common top finishers FoCuS, Reprisal, HawK and Sonik all made it to the last round playoff grid.
Sonik went undefeated through the grid until the grand final where the Korean Human ReprisaL gave the Night Elf Ukrainian a rough time. After being down twice in the match series, at 0-1 and 1-2, Sonik turned it around in the final two games on Twisted Meadows and Ancient Isles 2 to win the $100 EUR.
HawK, coming in as last week's champion, could see himself lose 0-2 to Sonik in the semi final.
