Russian Sergey "HawK" Sherbakov defeated fellow Russian Artem "Cash" Schirobokov in last Saturday's ZOTAC WarCraft Cup. The 246th of its kind attracted 151 players, and for the first time since edition #226, no Korean made it past the quarter finals.

While top Koreans LawLiet, FoCuS, Lucifer had to type out in the earlier rounds, it was the Korean Night Elf Je Min "BaNy" Oh who represented South Korea in the playoffs. The Lof member fell to an on-song HawK in the quarter final though, and instead had to sit by and see the inquisitive-prefixed HawK go through the grid losing only one game (against Sonik).

The WCG 2011 fourth finalist Sherbakov went on to defeat said Sonik by 2-1 in the semis and Cash with 3-0 in the grand final.

This was the Russian Night Elf's third victory in the ZOTAC Cup, having won it once in March this year and one in February in 2011.
