While Chris Metzen said that Diablo 3 is "almost ready" and that it gets "done when it's done" in standard Blizzard fashion, we got to see what the Collector's Edition will include.
The Collector's Edition was » 'confirmed' after a video reaching The British Board of Film Classification 10 days ago, but with Mike Morhaime, President and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment, opening the BlizzCon 2011, the full scope was revealed today.
The edition, jocosely said weighing over a three thousand pounds, will include in-game items for not only Diablo 3, but also World of WarCraft and StarCraft 2.
The World of WarCraft item is in-game pet, a "Fetish Shaman", while StarCraft 2 players will have to settle with three Batttle.net portraits. Diablo 3 "loot" includes aesthetic artifacts which will make your character look different.
It also includes a Diablo skull and a soulstone-shaped 4GB USB stick holding a full Diablo 2 game.
Add to that Collector's Edition soundtrack, an Art of Diablo 3 booklet, behind the scenes DVD and Blu-Ray two-disc set and of course the Diablo 3 game itself.
