Hayder "HayprO" Hussein and Nick "ajtls" De Cesare are the first two to pull through to the NVIDIA StarCraft 2 GosuCup playoff. This after yesterday's first open qualifier.

- "He did a fast dark templar opening that I kinda saw so it didn't do damage but afterwards I somehow manage to keep losing my overseers so I lost too much to the dark templars and ended up losing the game," explains HayprO to GosuGamers.
In the second game he was able to defend against the proven favored dark templar strategy of Andro and could win with mutalisk harass transitioning into roaches.
To end the series and qualify for the playoffs, HayprO did an early zergling push that caught Andro off guard who teched early and went fast expansion.
ajtls, also him a known StarCraft: Brood War player, had a tougher route to reach the playoffs. By defeating known veterans as Paulo "Cat" Vizcarra, Simon "stalife" Park and Stefan "MorroW" Anderson his journey towards the playoffs ended in victory.
The final between HayprO and ajtls will be played in a near future to determine seeding positions for the playoff.
