MWI 2024: The groups are set for an epic tournament

With MWI 2024 quickly approaching, the group stage draw for the event has been confirmed as we begin our countdown to the EWC.

Much like the Mobile Legends Mid Season Cup (MSC 2024), the Mobile Legends Women’s Invitational 2024 has also taken huge leaps and bounds forward this year, with the inclusion of international teams, an international stage, and a massive prize pool for the competing teams to fight for. One of the biggest reasons for this has been the Esports World Cup, which has included MWI 2024 under its umbrella – making it the only women’s event at the upcoming tournament. With that in mind, we have the breakdown of the Group Stage draw for the tournament.

MWI Group Stage

In 2024, MWI is set to see a total of 12 teams fighting through the Group Stage, with these teams split into four groups of three. From this, the top two teams in each group will advance to the Playoff Stage, while the last team will be eliminated. Below is a breakdown of each group with the teams involved.

Group A

  • CFU Serendipity
  • Cloud9
  • Falcons Vega

Group B

  • DreamMax Girls
  • Net Angels
  • Omega Empress

Group C

  • Falcons Vega MENA
  • Victory Song Gamers
  • Zino Lilies

Group D

  • GG HomeGirls
  • Team Vitality
  • Tidal Legends Gaming

The Group Stage for MWI 2024 is set to take place on July 24th and 25th, with the teams playing in a best-of-two round-robin style event within their relative groups. Following that, the Playoffs will take place on July 26th and 27th, where we will see a champion crowned on the final day.

With a huge $500,000 prize pool on the line, as the teams jet to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for an amazing experience under the EWC, this year’s MWI is set to be an absolute blast. We will have more information on the teams and the event in the coming weeks, so be sure to stay tuned to our MLBB channels.
