Ninjas in Pyjamas enters the world of MLBB

This year has already seen multiple major esports organisations collaborate with SEA MLBB teams – and Team Flash is next on the list.

With the Esports World Cup making waves around the world, and all around the esports world, one thing has become apparent – organisations want to branch out into new places and new games. Across Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, we have seen the likes of Team Liquid, Fnatic, and Falcons Esports all making their way into the Southeast Asian teams – and now, another well-known team has entered into a new partnership.

Legends combine forces

Having never been a part of the MLBB esports world prior, Ninjas in Pyjamas, the legendary organisation which has seen huge success in multiple esports, has partnered up with the stellar Singaporean squad of Team Flash. As of right now, Team Flash remain the only team from SG to have partnered with a global esports organisation, and they will definitely use this opportunity to continue their brilliant form with the backing of the Swedish organisation behind them.

After their victory in the Mobile Legends Professional League Season 6, Flash has already been making waves in Season 7, completing the Regular Season at the top of the standings. Now, the reigning champions will head into the upcoming playoffs under the new name, NIP Flash – and hope to take their new partnership all the way to the Esports World Cup for the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 later this year.

Hicham Chahine, CEO of NIP had the following to say on the collaboration,

At Ninjas in Pyjamas, we are constantly striving to collaborate with the best of the best, and Team Flash Singapore exemplifies excellence in every aspect. We are excited to join forces with their talented MLBB team and embark on this exciting journey together.”

You can catch NIP Flash in action from Friday, June 14, as they go in search of another MPL title. We are excited to see what the team can do in the playoffs, and just what their new partnership will bring to the team in the future.
