MWI: Road to Finals 2024 begins today

Philippine’s Road to the MLBB Women’s Invitational 20224 is on the way, with the winning team set to represent the region in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

After the fantastic SILAB Qualifiers, the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational: Road to Finals 2024 is now set, and the four women’s teams will be fighting for their chance to represent the Philippines at the main event later this year. From May 10, 2024, Omega Empress, TNCZ4 FE, ONIC Zol, and Super Monching, will go offline for the first time ever in Makati City’s Shooting Gallery Studios.

With Bigetron Era taking the MWI 2023 championship, the PH teams will be amped up to get some revenge and keep their region at the top of MLBB across the board. With a huge $500,000 prize pool at the MWI 2024, which will now put the teams on show as part of the Esports World Cup, this weekend’s action is bound to be explosive.

The four teams fighting at the MWI: Road to Finals 2024 are:

Omega Empress
TNCZ4 FE
ONIC Zol
Super Monching

Baizhou Ning, MOONTON Games’ Head of Esports had the following to say on the upcoming weekend of series:

“This is just the beginning of our path to make MLBB esports in the Philippines more inclusive. With MWI: Road to Finals 2024, we hope to encourage our aspiring young female athletes out there to follow their dreams and become professional players in MLBB.”

All the action from the MWI: Road to Finals 2024 kicks off on Friday, May 10, and culminates in a grand finals series on Sunday, May 12. Included in this will also see a fantastic extra event, which will be the Lakbay Pasulong Showmatch – featuring players from the MDL Philippines and those from the MWI event too, playing a few friendly matches to give the audience more to watch. With both tournaments coming to a close in the same venue over the same weekend, it is going to be an amazing event for all to attend.
