One of the most anticipated features coming to MLBB arrives today, as the newly revamped Emblem System goes live.
June 27, 2023, will be a day that goes down in history for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, as the long-awaited and highly anticipated NEXT GAME FOR YOU update reaches the game. Featuring the Emblem System Revamp and Layla’s Workshop, this update revolutionises one of the game’s systems and allows feedback at the same time. With more assistance in choosing an Emblem, all the way through to being able to refund their sets, the update seeks to change the face of MLBB.
Layla’s Workshop
In essence, the workshop is a way for Moonton Games to obtain vital information on the new Emblem System. It allows players to share their feedback on different aspects of the game, initially focusing on their newest system, giving the community a place for an open discussion within the game. At the end of each review cycle, the highest-rated suggestions will be chosen and researched for implementation. This allows both newcomers and long-time players a chance to see some of their ideas brought into the game, especially right now with the Emblem Revamp.
Emblem System Revamp
Emblems have often been a highly contested feature within MLBB, with new players often being unable to grasp the system, or just completely ignoring it at times. This has been due to the constant Battle Points (BP) required to purchase attributes, and other reasons too, especially with newcomers to the game. However, one of the first aspects of the revamp to take into account is that the BP required to fuel each Emblem has been done away with, allowing players to freely choose different Talents and Emblems to mix and match, finding the perfect combination for their playstyle.
Originally there have been a total of 9 unique emblem sets available for use, each corresponding to a hero’s role within the Land of Dawn. These provided a small boost to certain stats, while also giving the veteran players an advantage over the novice. The revamp brings the total number of Emblems down to 6, removing the Jungle, Magical, and Physical Emblems from the mix to simplify the process. This makes it far easier to find the correct Emblem choice for your favourite hero, and for those that still struggle, there will be assistance.
Players will be able to copy builds of professional players, meaning that they will not have to worry too much about their Emblems if they are new to the game. This will allow perfect customisation of hero setup, which could open up entirely new ways to play.
While the new update’s biggest feature is definitely the Revamped Emblem System, it is not the only thing which will be coming to MLBB. With an influx of new heroes being brought into the game, Marksmen players can rejoice, with Ixia being next on the cards for release. We will be paying close attention to the Emblem System and how it pans out in the coming weeks, especially within the Mobile Legends Professional League, which is just around the corner.
