MWI 2023: Bigetron Era's historical win-streak continues

Bigetron Era secured their twenty-first championship victory in a row with an unstoppable performance at the MWI 2023.

Today would see the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Women’s Invitational 2023 come to an end, with a total of three series being played. The semi-finals kicked things off, with Bigetron Era and Risk Velkhana being the first two teams on stage. While they had a small lead early in game one, the Philippines team could not hang on, as the Robots turned on their jets and sped away to a 2-0 win. Following that, GPX Basreng were not about to get knocked out, as they blasted through Smart Omega Empress to secure a MWI 2022 grand finals replay in a best-of-five series.

The two Indonesia squads have met on multiple occasions, mainly in grand finals, and the results have always been the same – with Bigetron Era showing dominance and taking win after win, and today was another showing of dominance from the squad. After completely shutting out GPX in game one and securing a flawless victory, the Robots never faltered once, destroying their opponents at every turn. In the end, it was a savage from Cindy “Cinny” Laurent Siswanto which took them over the finish line for another amazing win in a 3-0 shutout.

This win, while brilliant in itself, takes Bigetron Era to a massive twenty-one tournament win-streak, as the team continues to create history. The ID squad’s tenacity and hard-work rewards them at every turn, as they utilise some extremely strong picks to outplay and outlast their opponents, giving them the edge at every turn. It would be extremely interesting to see if Bigetron Era can be stopped in the future, but for now they remain champions of the MWI 2023.
