Only a few teams remain in our look towards the M5 World Championship, with TheOhioBrothers being next on our journey.
North America has been a part of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang scene for some time now, and the region has impressed us all on multiple occasions when it comes to the M-Series. This year we will see TheOhioBrothers take to the tournament, leaving behind the once-famed BloodThirstyKings (BTK), and taking over the region – and possibly the M5 World Championship too.
The team
Chris Amiel “Mielow” Enobio
Jared Evan “Wrath” Gillespie
Bestplayer1
Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun
ZIA
Oscar “Shark” Vo
When it comes to NA MLBB, many of this squad have been around for some time, playing alongside Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun back at M3 and M4 with The Valley, before now coming through to M5 to showcase their region’s prowess further. However, we also will see a few new faces and unknown players – something that NA is fantastic at utilising to take down their opponents.

The M-Series
As mentioned previously, this is not an entirely new roster coming into the M5 World Championships, but rather, a few veterans mixed in with a few new faces. Both Hoon and ZIA will be attending their second M-Series event, while, for Shark, this will be his third. Having placed third back at M3, and fifth/sixth at M4, SHARK is definitely well-versed in how things go within the tournament – and can give some fantastic insight to the team. This will be much appreciated by the likes of Mielow and Bestplayer1, both of whom come into the M-Series for the first time.
The Formula
Back when the NA roster still featured Mobazane at M3, he was deemed their main playmaker, constantly getting the MVP vote for his efforts from the Jungle. That role now belongs to bestplayer1, who did have some struggles adapting to the Southeast Asian playstyle at MSC 2023 with OutPlay. However, that’s not to say that the rest of the team will not rally around him and find their way forward. With the experience of a roaming SHARK, as well as Hoon in the middle lane, there are definitely big chances for TOB to leapfrog the pack.
When it comes down to it, TOB has one of the toughest groups at M5, with the CIS challenge of Deus Vult, Geek Fam ID, and HomeBois all being rather strong squads. Although NA MLBB has shown up on multiple occasions at previous events, this could be the one time where an early elimination is on the cards – or, they cause some of the biggest upsets in the event during the Group Stage.
