Both Cloud9 and FlyQuest top the LCS Spring Split after the first week of games.
After eight games over two days, it was Cloud9 and FlyQuest who top the LCS Spring Split group stage. With just five more weeks to go before the playoffs, both teams are off to a good start after C9 took key victories against other LCS heavyweights like 100 Thieves and last year's Summer champions, NRG.
As for FlyQuest, they had a slightly easier route as they went up against both Immortals and debutants to the LCS, Shopify Rebellion and won both games. While Immortals didn't put up much of a fight, SR did but still fell short. They would then go on to lose against Team Liquid to put themselves in the bottom two with a 0-2 score line alongside Immortals, who lost to Dignitas.
Both Liquid and Dignitas currently share a four-way tie for third alongside 100T and NRG, which goes to show that anything can happen in the LCS. Of course, it is still too early to say on who will have the jump on qualifying to the playoffs first, but given the strong start from C9 and FlyQuest, those are can easily be in the conversation for now.
FlyQuest will have a rough fixture this weekend with the likes of Liquid and NRG to contend with while C9 will face Dignitas and SR. Other match-ups to look forward to this weekend for week two of the LCS Spring Split include Immortals versus SR to determine who can get their first win of the split.
