LCS debutants Shopify Rebellion make three new signings to its roster

Shopify Rebellion is set to make its LCS debut next year.

Having acquired TSM's franchise slot as well as its roster, Shopify Rebellion have finalised its line-up for the upcoming LCS season where it will make its debut. Only two of TSM's Summer roster of this season will play a part next year as SR brought in the former Disguised trio of Aaron “FakeGod” Lee, Tomio “Tomio” Chan, and Tristan “Zeyzal” Stidam.

Lastly, there's Yoong Hoon “Bvoy” Joo, who will be making his LCS debut after spending several years in different regions like the CBLOL, LLA, LEC, as well as the LPL. SR have also decided to keep jungler Seong-yeop “Bugi” Lee as well as midlaner David “Insanity” Challe.

Tomio will be the substitute jungler alongside Bugi as SR have fielded a six-man roster for the LCS. This will also be Tomio's debut in the LCS alongside Bvoy and it will be interesting to see how both players adapt to the playstyle in North America. As a whole, SR's roster does have plenty of players who are already seasoned veterans in the league with some having been around since 2017.

SR bought over TSM's slot just a few months ago after it was announced by the org's CEO, Andy “Reginald” Dinh that it was leaving the LCS after a decade with the NA franchise. This came after years of mediocre performances and results that saw TSM digress from being one of the best and brightest in the LCS to barely scraping the top-half of the 10-org strong list. It has been speculated that TSM was exploring other regions that it would compete in the future, but there have been no updates yet.
