The Mayor of Value Town took his first tournament win, and these are the decks he used to do it.
Hunter and Warlock are very standard picks in Conquest line-ups in current meta and this was recognized by the majority of the HTC Recharged players, including champion Jeffrey “Trump” Shih. While most of his colleagues steered towards Warrior for their third choice, Trump had chosen to play Mech Shaman instead.
Despite the class being heavily critiqued in recent months, it has performed well in the right hands. Players like Apostolos “Hawkeye” Karaiskos and Sebastian “Forsen” Fors used it to reach the grand finals of EU vs CN Season 2 and the previous HTC Invitational, respectively. So next time somebody is worried about a Shaman in your line-up, show him there's nothing to worry about:
