The North American organization open their new division by picking up some of the most recognized names on the scene, namely Ek0p, Gnimsh, StrifeCro, Hafu and Kolento.
The creation of Cloud 9's Hearthstone team has been rumored for some time and it's finally announced officially. A powerful five-man roster is signed to propel the brand into competitive HS.
The division is headlined by two of DogeHouse's founding members Jan "Ek0p" Palys and Marcin "Gnimsh" Filipowicz. Buddies from the WoW TCG times, the two have been in the core of one of the oldest Hearthstone teams with numerous televised appearances and successes.
Cong "StrifeCro" Shu and Aleksandr "Kolento" Malsh - both of which played as guest members of DogeHouse within Gentlemen Cup - will also sign with Cloud 9. One of the longest reigning GosuRankings kings, the former StarCraft 2 professional StrifeCro is at long last officially signed by an established team, after starting his Hearthstone career as a member of the Liquid Value practice group. Kolento, on the other hand, will be parting ways with Managrind, for which he's been playing since team's foundation.
Finally, there's Rumay "Hafu" Wang, a long time eSports pro player and renowned arena streamer. Like StrifeCro, this will be Hafu's first formal signing to a professional organisation withing her Hearthstone career.
