After seven hours of final table play, Little Rock, Arkansas native Sam Barnhart won the 2011 World Series of Poker Circuit event at Harrah's Tunica. He won $148,612, a gold circuit ring, and entry into the WSOP-C National Championship $1 Million Freeroll to be played in May at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
Barnhart outlast a field of 480 entrants who each bought in for $1,500 to the main event of the WSOP-C Tunica poker series.
Barnhart defeated Jesse White heads up. White took home $91,881. The last woman standing, Mary Harden, went out in third.
