Elden Ring Nightreign sees FromSoftware take its Souls-like franchise in an interesting new direction, with a focus on multiplayer PvE combat. The game has players fight it out in a constantly-shrinking in-game map over the course of three days to survive. Players can play as one of eight different Nightfarers, who each come with different abilities and playstyles.
Elden Ring Nightreign will launch on 30 May, 2025. After that, FromSoftware will turn its attention to the next big thing: a multiplayer Nintendo Switch 2 game called The Duskbloods.
