The event will feature more community-focused activities, giving players new ways to celebrate their favourite HoYoverse games.
HoYoverse, the developer of popular gacha games Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero, has unveiled exciting news for Southeast Asian players. A bigger and better HoYo FEST is set to arrive in mid-2025, with larger venues across the region and more ways for the community to take part.
HoYo FEST is an annual Southeast Asian event hosted by HoYoverse, celebrating its games and community. It usually features themed booths for its biggest games, including Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Honkai Impact 3rd, Zenless Zone Zero, and more, where fans and players can get photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise, and more.
More space for more people and activities
Since 2021, HoYo FEST was held either in specialty cafés or mall activity centres. While it did well in drawing the interest of many, these spaces had a tendency of being overcrowded in the past few years. Seemingly in response to the overwhelming demand, this year’s event is moving to much larger venues, ensuring more space for activities, exhibits, and fan interactions.
From 24-27 July 2025, HoYo FEST will take over multiple cities:
- Indonesia: Surabaya Convention Center (SCC) – 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
- Malaysia: Pavilion Exhibition Centre Bukit Jalil, Hall 1 & 2 – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Thailand: The Mall Bangkapi, MCC Hall – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- The Philippines: SMX Convention Center Manila, Hall 3 – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Vietnam: Sky Expo, Hall A5 – 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM
- Singapore (25-27 July): Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 406CXD – 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM
What’s new for 2025?
The Artist Alley is making its grand debut across all venues after a successful trial in Indonesia and Vietnam last year. Artists can showcase and sell their HoYoverse-inspired creations, from prints to handcrafted merchandise.
Another major addition is the Stage Segment, allowing cosplayers, performers, and fan artists to step into the spotlight. Whether it’s a dynamic performance, a stunning cosplay showcase, or a live art demonstration, participants can share their creativity with a larger audience.
