Players claim that they have found more proof that bots exist in matches.
It’s been weeks since players have suspected that Marvel Rivals are placing bots in matches after a losing streak, and while the evidence continues to mount, some players have found ways to detect them.
Reddit investigation sparks debate
Redditor ciaranxy shared a lengthy post named “Everything You Need to Know About Marvel Rivals' Secret Quickplay Bots,” where they talked about what they discovered about the alleged bots after weeks of testing.
According to the post, Marvel Rivals allegedly places bots into matches under specific conditions:
- Bots only appear in Quickplay not in Competitive mode.
- After two consecutive losses, the likelihood of being placed in a bot lobby increases significantly.
- Bot lobbies consist of four human teammates and two bots versus six bot opponents.
- Players who leave bot matches are penalised.
- All bots have profiles set to Account Level 1.
- Bot profiles show "restricted access" instead of “limited access” which human players usually have.
PC Gamer’s Morgan Park tested this theory as well, and in his report, he confirms that after more than three losses, things started looking fishy—and that all of the conditions Redditor ciaranxy described were present.
Invisible Woman: The bot detector?
Invisible Woman Hidden OP New Tech Discovered

Redditor barky16 posted a video displaying an off-the-wall use for Invisible Woman's trademark ability. In the footage, Sue Storm uses her invisibility ability to block off the opposing squad. Strangely, the enemies do not react or attempt to go around her until she exits invisibility mode, at which combat resumes normally. The video confirms that the supposed bots just stand still after being blocked by an invisible Sue Storm.
This odd behaviour has led many to theorise that the opponents in the video were bots incapable of recognising path obstructions caused by the Invisible Woman. The clip has since been widely circulated as further evidence of bot activity in Marvel Rivals.
NetEase continues to keep quiet about the issue at hand, and without direct confirmation, it remains the subject of theories and allegations until players get a clear answer.
