New Assassin’s Creed game rumoured to be inspired by Fall Guys
Leaker Twitter/X user j0nathan, who has accurately shared information from Ubisoft games like Assassin’s Creed Shadows before they were officially revealed, is now leaking a new multiplayer entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The leaker claims that this new game is codenamed ‘Assassin’s Creed Invictus’, featuring multiple game modes and characters from the larger franchise.
J0nathan claims that Assassin’s Creed Invictus will be a Fall Guys-like game, with 16-player battle royale gameplay. Much like Fall Guys, players will compete across several rounds of different minigames. A few confirmed games for these rounds are a team deathmatch game and a ‘speed game’ where players have to race to certain locations on the map. Those who qualify for the next round will be able to choose abilities to kit out a character build.
The leaker claims that multiple characters from the Assassin’s Creed franchise will be made playable in this game, with Ezio and Cesare Borgia specifically confirmed to make an appearance. The game will also feature a map with locations from various Assassin’s Creed games, including Baghdad from Assassin’s Creed Mirage and Japan from Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Ubisoft has not confirmed or acknowledged any of these leaks. Currently, the game publisher is busy bringing the next mainline game in the franchise, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, to the finish line. The Japan-set game launches on November 15, 2024. Multiple Assassin's Creed remakes are also in development.
