PlayStation and Lego’s Horizon Zero Dawn co-op spin-off has been revealed.
The long-rumoured Lego spin-off of PlayStation’s Horizon franchise has finally been unveiled. PlayStation Studios took to Summer Games Fest to officially announce Lego Horizon Adventures, a co-op action-adventure game that offers a slightly more lighthearted take on Guerrilla Games’ futuristic Horizon universe. Aloy will return as a playable protagonist, along with her friend Varl.

Lego Horizon Adventures launches this year with two-player co-op
Co-developers Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo have announced Lego Horizon Adventures, a multiplayer co-op spin-off of the Horizon franchise set to launch on the Nintendo Switch, PC and PlayStation 5 this holiday season.
Here’s PlayStation’s official synopsis of the game:
In a distant future, the land is made of LEGO bricks and incredible dinosaur-like machines roam the Earth. Aloy, the game’s leading hero, is found in a cave as a baby and raised by a grizzled huntsman called Rost, who teaches her the way of the wilds. One day, Aloy embarks on a quest to discover her true destiny. Guided by a thousand-year-old hologram of a scientist called Elisabet, Aloy must confront Helis, the leader of a group of sun worshipers who bow to an Ancient Evil shrouded in mystery. There’s much more in store for Aloy and her friends, as their adventure sends them across the tallest mountains and deepest cauldrons — all beautifully recreated in LEGO elements.
Lego Horizon Adventures is designed for two-player co-op, and it supports both online play and couch co-op. Otherwise, the game looks like a pretty faithful remake of the Horizon games with a brick-built coat of paint splashed over everything. A new story campaign will pit Aloy and more returning Horizon characters against a new threat, but players can also customise a player hub called Mother’s Heart and wear all sorts of anachronistic outfits together.
Lego Horizon Adventures will launch on the Nintendo Switch, PC and PlayStation 5 sometime in the 2024 holiday season. Check out more announcements and trailers from Summer Game Fest Live here.
