The Game Awards 2024 showed off a ton of upcoming games, from The Witcher 4 to Naughty Dog's next game.
The Game Awards 2024 returned for another three-hour show this year, delivering a bevy of announcements and reveals for upcoming video games in what remains of 2024, 2025, and beyond. The event also bestowed awards to the games industry’s best talent and titles across multiple categories, ranging from Game of the Year to Best Esports Team.
This year, The Game Awards gave us the announcement of Naughty Dog's new game and an Okami sequel as well as new trailers for The Outer Worlds 2 and The Witcher 4. In case you haven’t caught up yet, here’s every big game reveal and announcement from The Game Awards 2024:
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound
We're getting a new Ninja Gaiden game at long last, from developer Dotemu. This is a 2D platformer game in the retro style of the classic Ninja Gaiden games, with flashy combat and gorgeous visuals.
Slay the Spire 2
The beloved roguelike deck-building game Slay the Spire is getting a sequel launching in early access next year, which means that we're all going to be addicted to playing Slay the Spire again.
Thick as Thieves
We got a new look at game developer Warren Spector’s latest project: a multiplayer stealth game where players step into the roles of different playable classes.
Shadow Labyrinth
Pac-Man’s Secret Level episode is shockingly getting a game adaptation. This looks like a metroidvania following Pac-Man and their companion, as the duo fight to escape a maze.
Rematch
This football game comes from the maker of Sifu. Players can team up with friends and tackle, dribble, aim, and shoot their way to victory in fast-paced 5v5 matches.
The Witcher 4
CD Projekt Red showed up with one of today's more shocking game reveals: a new Witcher game starring Ciri, Geralt’s mentee and now-seasoned monster hunter. How has the world of The Witcher changed since the events of Geralt’s trilogy? We're about to find out.
Elden Ring: Nightreign (2025)

We got a new look at the newest entry in Gearbox’s looter-shooter franchise Borderlands 4, including its four Vault Hunters.
Final Fantasy 16 x Tekken 8
Clive Rosfield from Final Fantasy 16 is coming to Tekken 8 as a playable fighter, with actor Ben Starr returning to voice the role.

We’re finally getting a sequel to Okami - and with game director Hideki Kamiya heading the project, no less.
Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet
The Last of Us developer Naughty Dog has finally revealed its next game: Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, set for the PlayStation 5. This game is set thousands of years in the future, with players playing the role of bounty hunter Jordan A. Mun. When Jordan gets stranded on a distant planet called Sempiria, she has to use all her skills and wits if she hopes to be the first person in over 600 years to leave its orbit.
