Zenless Zone Zero: Complete dailies and weeklies guide for more Polychromes

Here’s a handy guide for Zenless Zone Zero’s must-do daily and weekly activities.

HoYoverse’s latest gacha game Zenless Zone Zero has loads of content to grind through in between patches, but some of its most important activities also happen to be the easiest to complete. If you’re looking for more Polychromes and upgrade materials for your favourite Agents, your best bet is to check into the game and tick off a few simple activities on a daily basis, in exchange for a bounty of easy rewards.

If you’re worried that you might be missing out on some of these crucial rewards however, we've got you covered. Here are all the dailies and weeklies you should be doing in Zenless Zone Zero:

The easiest dailies to tick off: Errands

Zenless Zone Zero’s easiest dailies are its Errands, without a doubt. These are simple commissions that reset every day, unlocked for all players after they meet Nekomata and finish the main story’s Explosive Last Train quest. Once you’ve done that, you’ll have four simple tasks to do once per day:

  • Log into the game
  • Drink a cup of coffee at Coff Coffee
  • Try your luck with scratch cards at the newsstand
  • Open the video store by picking one promoter and three movies

It’s worth noting that opening the video store will also give you a certain amount of Dennies the next day. A cup of coffee can replenish your Battery Charge, allowing you to take on the Combat Simulator. The scratch cards offer randomised rewards, ranging from Dennies to a small amount of Polychromes. Once you complete all of these daily Errands, you’ll be able to claim the following rewards:

  • 600 Inter-Knot Credit
  • 60 Polychrome
  • 3 Official Investigator’s Log
  • 3 Bangboo Algorithm Module
  • 3 W-Engine Power Supply
  • 3,000 Denny

But wait, there’s more!

While the above Errands take less than five minutes to complete, there are even more rewards within your reach if you’re willing to go the extra mile. First off, it would behoove players to use up all of their available Battery Charge - a stamina meter that slowly replenishes over time - in the HIA Club’s Combat Simulator mode every day. This mode will reward players with a bevy of different upgrade materials to level their W-Engines, Agents, Skills, Drive Discs and more.

With an extra +60 Battery Charge earned from your daily cup of coffee, why not head down to HIA Club and grind for some much-needed Agent upgrades? These Combat Simulator missions are an excellent source of daily Inter-Knot points as well, allowing you to level up pretty quickly as long as you remember to do them. Using up your Battery Charge will also contribute towards the New Eridu City Fund battle pass, which has an assortment of daily tasks for players to complete. If you do all of the activities stated above, you should have no problem ticking them off.

Lastly, Trust Events. Zenless Zone Zero has a simple social system that allows you to invite up to three Agents out on a date every day. Hanging out with Agents (and picking the right dialogue choices) will increase their Trust Level, which can then give you small rewards while also contributing to certain levels of your Primer Trials. For example, the final Primer Trial level (as of the 1.0 update) asks for players to level at least three Agents up to Trust Level 4. Best to get a headstart on that early on!

Weeklies

Zenless Zone Zero also has a few activities which reset every week, offering players more specific but nonetheless important rewards. First up is the New Eridu City Fund battle pass. Whether you’re on the paid or free reward track, you’ll want to tick off its weekly tasks for some XP points. You can do this by completing a Hollow Zero mission or doing a few Routine Cleanup stages. Even the free battle pass track can give you worthwhile rewards like Boopons, so try to tick those tasks off when you have time.

Almost every upgrade material to level your Agents can be found in the HIA Club Combat Simulator - except for a few specific items you need to upgrade their Core Skills. You can get these by completing the game’s Notorious Hunts, which have you take on challenging boss fights in exchange for rewards three times a week. You don’t need to use up your Battery Charge to do these, but they can be pretty difficult to complete with an S-Rank. Make sure you have the right team assembled before tackling these missions.

Lastly, the Hollow Zero Bounty Commissions. These are specific weekly challenges you can complete during Hollow Zero missions, by doing things like clearing a certain amount of Pressure, clearing a mission on higher difficulties and so on. Bounty Commissions refresh every week, but they’re a great way to snag a few extra Polychromes and Boopons.
