With roster changes left, right, and centre, Team Spirit is next to announce their newest members, as they look towards the upcoming Dota 2 season.

After a rather sub-standard performance at The International 2024, which saw them knocked out in 9th-12th place, Team Spirit made their first roster changes only a few days ago. Illya “yatoro” Mulyarchuk and Miroslaw “Mira” Kolpakov both moved to inactive – with both deciding to take a break from professional Dota for a short time. Only a little over a week later and Spirit was ready to announce their new roster today, which was done via their social media accounts.

It has been a little over ten days since Yellow Submarine threw in the towel and disbanded their Dota 2 team – and it seems that this fit in perfectly with Spirit’s plans, as two of their new players join from the remains of that team.

Having only begun his Dota 2 professional career in mid-2023, rue has big shoes to fill as he joins Spirit in the Position 4 Support role. With very little experience against major opponents, Rue is thrown right into the deep end, as Spirit looks to overcome their shaky 2024 and start off the new season strong. This is where their new carry comes in – the 16-year-old star, Satanic. Having been the youngest player to break the 13,000 MMR mark, for a short time at least, Satanic will look to pick up where Raddan left off.

Alongside this, earlier today, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov also decided to take some personal time, with plans to return in January 2025. However, until the point he returns, Abdimalik “Malik`” Sailau will be taking on the Position 3 Offlane role.

The full Team Spirit roster is:

With PGL Wallachia Season 2 and BetBoom Dacha Belgrade coming in October 2024, we will get to see this new roster in action very soon. Whether or not the newly added youngsters will be able to fit in on the fly remains to be seen, but it will be great to see what Satanic can do with veteran players around him.
