The talent

TI gives us a plethora of Dota 2 to view over its running time, and everyone from those viewing at home or those at the venue need assistance to get through the action. This is where the talent comes into play – from Hosts to take us from game to game, analysts to break down every piece of the games, casters to take us through the plays, and many more well-known faces, they bring the action right to everyone involved. This year’s talent includes some of our favourites which can be seen below.

The format

With such a short time until the teams begin their challenge for The Aegis of Champions, the tournament format was also confirmed. With four groups of four teams, each playing through a best-of-two round-robin during the Group Stages – with certain rules for teams which are drawn at the end of the run which comes in the form of tiebreakers. The full list of rules for the entire TI can be found here.

TI 2024 promises to be an epic tournament with will all sixteen teams throwing everything that they can at one another in an attempt to become the champions. With so much coming our way, having the format, a new hero, the Compendium, and the talent all in one day can seem like quite a lot to take in – but we will have you covered every step of the way.
