Another event, another title as Team Falcons best Gaimin Gladiators 3:0 in the grand finals of DreamLeague Season 23.
Covering grand finals with Team Falcons competing is becoming daunting for a writer. What is there that is left to report about this team? What else can be said? Not even the mid-event game-changing patch has been able to stop this team.
It really has become the year of the Falcon. The MENA-based team started the season strong and has maintained its momentum event after event. PGL Wallachia seems like it was the only real blip on the radar when they took a *gasp* third-place finish *gasp* – it must have been something in the water that week or the fact that Malr1ne was missing.
Falcons were shredded twice by Gaimin Gladiators yesterday in the upper bracket finals of DreamLeague Season 23. The matches were swift and brutal, over in 20 and 32 minutes respectively. It seemed that perhaps they were done, but they clawed their way back through the lower bracket with a 2:1 win against BetBoom and came ready to exact revenge on GG.
Gaimin GladiatorsvsTeam Falcons 0:3
The first match of the series Gaimin Gladiators had no stuns or damage to go through the Weaver. Win lanes, win game. Things went all kinds of wrong for Gaimin Gladiators as Quinn "Quinn" Callahan was shut down three times and Stanislav "Malr1ne" Potorak had a great start.
Game 2 Team Falcons were on point with their teamwork and map movements. Gaimin Gladiators tried to level things off in the mid-game but ended up more frazzled instead, unable to match Falcons's movements.
In the third game, Gaimin Gladiators put up a stronger fight to set things in motion. But once again they just couldn't keep up with the onslaught from Falcons and started to fall quickly behind. They stepped it up and tried their hardest but it wasn't enough to overpower Falcons who continued to take the upper hand in their incredible team fight coordination.
Falcons are just on another level and take the victory with relative ease.

DreamLeague Season 23
Twelve teams gathered in boot camps in Europe to compete for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and 26,100 EPT points. At this point with no DPC, many expect that the EPT points will be critical for participating in ESL's LANs and might be the biggest factor in determining The International 2024 invites.
DreamLeague Season 23 will be followed by Riyadh Masters. This will be the least DreamLeague Season before The International 2024. Check out the ESL EPT Pathing and results so far:
