nouns part ways with Stormstormer and coach Astini

An underwhelming performance at BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 brings roster changes for the North American team nouns.

Following the team’s exit in the bottom four at the $1,000,000 tournament in Dubai, nouns’ captain Tal "Fly" Aizik released a short video on his social media channels to thank Daniel "Stormstormer" Schoetzau for his efforts and wish him well in his next endeavours.

“We decided to part ways with Stormstormer” said Fly. “He is an incredible person, it’s been such a pleasure to work with him and I wish him nothing but the best moving forward,” he added while also mentioning that an update regarding the nouns roster is due to come shortly.

Stormstormer made the switch from Europe to NA Dota mid November last year, when nouns went through a full roster restructure. Along with Yuma "Yuma" Langlet, Stormstormer was initially announced as a stand in for the coming regional qualifiers. A month later, Yuma was promoted to a full time member with nouns, while the European mid laner continued as a stand in. The January qualifiers rounds brought mixed results for Nouns, who only clinched a spot at the BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024.

While Stormstormer’s departure was announced by Fly, noun’s coach Filipe "Astini" Astini has also made his exit from the team citing miscommunication in the negotiation process with the organisation.

“Had a nice time with the nouns players at BetBoom,” posted Astini on X. ”They are great people and amazing players. But decided not to sign with nouns. Just wasn’t what I was expecting from the org when I accepted the tryout. Miscommunication. Unlucky.”
