While this seems to be a very successful tournament for the Western teams, Chinese Dota fans are left with no one to cheer for in the top three.
BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 is only the second LAN for Team Falcons, but to no one's surprise, the newly formed roster was the first to reach the grand finals. They’ve done it relatively easily, sending Xtreme Gaming, Azure Ray and BetBoom Team to the lower bracket. From all the teams that fought in the lower bracket, BetBoom Boom and Team Liquid made it to the top 3. For Liquid, this was yet another full lower bracket run where they crushed some of the biggest contenders, including their 2023 kryptonite, Gaimin Gladiators.
Team Liquid are also responsible for sending home two of the three Chinese teams at BetBoom Dacha Dubai, namely Xtreme and Azure Ray. Only one team is left standing between them and a spot in the grand finals. For Liquid to make a full comeback from elimination rounds, they need to get past BetBoom Team. The lower bracket final is scheduled for Friday, February 16 at 10:00 CET with the winner joining Team Falcons in the final act of the $1,000,000 first tournament of 2024.
BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 grand finals will also be played this Friday, at 15:00 CET, so stay tuned to GosuGamers for more updates!
