Mark your calendars: Saturday, February 10 as BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 is bringing you the biggest 1v1 solo mid tournament you’ve ever seen.
Fissure has taken a huge leap forward from last year’s 1v1 Solo Tournament and from eight players and a $1,000 winner takes it all format, the tournament organizer is hosting this year in Dubai a fully-fledged show.
This year’s event features a $100,000 prize pool and a total of 40 participants with a plethora of exciting and at the same time intriguing names on the list. The whole Solo Tournament is set to take place during the break between the group stage and the playoffs, on Saturday, February 10.
Who is playing at BetBoom Dacha 2024 Solo Tournament?
Most of the teams competing in the main tournament have sent four representatives to the 1v1 battle. Some have just two players in the competition, while only Team Spirit sent just their mid laner, Denis "Larl" Sigitov.
The BetBoom Dacaha Dubai 2024 Solo Tournament will give the fans a very rare opportunity to see some of the coaches and even managers showcasing their skills. There are only four teams that have their coaches and managers competing: Team Liquid, Virtus.pro, Gaimin Gladiators and OG.
While Dota 2 fans will be happy to see veterans such as Blitz and G coming for a fun afternoon at a 1v1 Solo Tournament, they should also be prepared for more surprises.
Gaimin Gladiators’ coach, although out of the spotlight, is a former mid lane player who sits in the Immortal bracket. Since he took the coaching seat at GG, Cy has an outstanding resume with three back-to-back Major titles claimed last year and a second place finish at The International 2023. Would he deliver the big surprise in the 1v1 Solo tournament? It remains to be seen.
Speaking of surprises, OG are setting you up for real entertainment. Besides bzm, Ari and their coach Misha, OG are also bringing their manager, Bonkers. So, make sure you catch him on Saturday!

BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 Solo Tournament format and rules
Single-elimination bracket
- Quarterfinals and Semifinals are Bo3, Grand Final is Bo5, all other matches are Bo1
- Players take turns picking 3 heroes each from the general pool of heroes in Dota 2
- The total hero pool is 10 for each match
- Contains 4 default heroes (Pudge, Shadow Fiend, Puck, Mirana) + 6 picked heroes
- Players take turns banning heroes from the hero pool
- Bans will take place until there is only one hero left
Prohibitions:
- farming in the jungle
- destroying observer wards
- visiting other lanes
- blocking the first wave of creeps
- collecting and using runes
- bottle and infused raindrops
Victory condition:
- tower destruction
- two kills
- surrender of the opponent
- If within 15 minutes neither player has reached any of the above conditions, the following formula will be taken into account:
- Summary of creepstat + kills x 35
The $100,000 prize pool will be split between the top 8 players as follows
- 1st place: $50,000
- 2nd place: $20,000
- 3rd-4th place: $10,000
- 5th-8th place: $2,500
