Filipino player Kim "Gabbi" Santos heads to WEU team Entity Gaming before The International qualifiers and (most likely) Riyadh Masters.
With the third and final Major of the DPC ending, all of the DPC points have been awarded and the direct invitation spots for The International have been distributed.
Entity wasn't close to an invite, despite starting the season strong with a 5-6th place finish at Lima Major. They finished the following two DPC Tours in 6th place and DreamLeague Seasons in 15th-16th place.
The WEU team decided to make a change. The first step was parting ways with Tobias "Tobi" Buchner last month. Tobi was part of Entity since November 2021.
The second step was to find a replacement. And the team looked across the continent for the right one.
This is where Kim "Gabbi" Santos enters.
Gabbi, a veteran and well-known Filipino player, will be heading to Europe to compete under the Entity banner.
Gabbi last played for Fnatic who shut down their Dota 2 division earlier this year in February.
Traditionally Gabbi plays carry, but for Entity he will be heading to the offlane.

The International returns to the US after four editions held around the world. TI7 was the last edition hosted by the Key Arena in Seattle, where Team Liquid lifted the Aegis of Champions. From there on, each year TI went to different parts of the globe. Key Arena, which now is Climate Pledge arena from Seattle will be the home for The International 2023. The event will run October 14 - 29 with the best 18 teams fighting for the trophy.
Only eight teams will qualify through the Regional Qualifiers; two teams from South America and Western Europe, and only one team each from North America, Eastern Europe, China, and Southeast Asia.
