Talon Esports are last to miss The International 2022 Main Event

The International 2022 (TI11) group stage came to an end with a best-of-three tiebreaker between the Group B teams Entity and Talon Esports.

At the end of the group stage marathon, Entity and Talon Esports finished tied for seventh place with a  6-12 game score which pitted them to a final best-of-three decisive battle for a spot into the TI11 playoffs lower bracket.

Through the group play, Talon were able to actually take a 2-0 victory from Entity, however, when put in a bo3 scenario, the SEA representatives got out drafted and ultimately heavily outplayed by the WEU regional qualifiers winners, Entity.

Talon got run over in game one by a Lycan-Leshrac-Morphling trio core coming from Entity and looked to even out the series with a four protect one strategy revolved around Terrorblade. However, while they were focused on their own strategy, they allowed Entity to have comfort picks and dominate the entire game with a carry Pudge and a mid lane Visage.

Talon Esports, who unfortunately couldn’t have their coach in Singapore for the first two days of the group stage, have found themselves eliminated in the 16th/20th place at TI11 along with TSM.FTX, Soniqs and BetBoom Toom.

The International 2022 Playoffs are set to begin on the 20th of October in the Suntec Arena from Singapore.
