Team Secret has announced their new carry player as Remco "Crystallis" Arets, a Dutch player.
It was just last week that Team Secret bid farewell to legendary carry player Syed "SumaiL" Hassan after a disappointing season.
Now, they announce his replacement.
The change in the roster comes on the heels of the team failing to clinch a spot at the ESL One Singapore Major and before the start of the final tour for the DPC 2021-22 season.
Remco "Crystallis" Arets is a Dutch carry player that fans might recognize from various tier 2 teams such as B8, Creepwave, and most recently Entity Gaming. He has been playing carry in teams since 2020 and this will mark his big entry into a top-tier team.
This is the only change Team Secret has made thus far. There are just mere days for the rosters to be locked once again. Per Valve’s rules, all the teams that play in the DPC have time until the first Tuesday after the Major to remove their players. The rosters will become locked at 11:59am PT Tuesday, May 24, meaning that any player removal after that, will incur DPC points deduction. However, the teams have time to register their new additions until Sunday, at 11:59 a.m PT
The third tour of the DPC 2021-22 season will begin with league play on June 6th and is followed by the last Major of the season in August in Arlington, Texas.
