Team Secret sweep through the competition for the ESL One Katowice 2019 title

Team Secret claimed their second ESL One title in less than six months.

In October Team Secret claimed the ESL One Hamburg 2018 title. Now just a few months later, they have clinched another ESL One title, giving Michał "Nisha" Jankowski a championship title in his homeland.

Team Secret went 9:1 in the group stage and then dominated the playoff stage with an undefeated run through to the championship title. The #1 ranked team of the 2018-2019 DPC season are quickly becoming the team to beat —yet few have been able to do so lately.

After knocking down OG and taking an impressive run at the event, Gambit Esports valiantly attempted to take down the European Giants, Team Secret.

Try as they might, Gambit's shortcomings were prime pickings for Team Secret to capitalize on and bury the CIS team. Feeling the squeeze after a heavily one-sided first match, Gambit attempted to hold their own and had a better showing, but it just wasn't enough to overpower and overthrow Team Secret. With their backs against the wall, Gambit had nowhere to go and the pressure just mounted against them. Team Secret closed things out with a clean and tidy 3:0 sweep to claim the title.
