The Chinese scene has started the post DAC 2017 shuffles, and first big news coming out is ChuaN’s return to the competitive scene by joining Vici Gaming.
Wong 'ChuaN' Hock Chuan took an indefinite break in the post TI 6 shuffle. However, he slowly started playing again at the beginning of this year when Newbee.Boss was formed. Meant as more of an entertaining way to keep the Dota 2 Chinese veterans in shape, rather than a serious competitive squad, Newbee.Boss hasn’t been too active, only playing in the DAC and Kiev Major qualifiers, without any notable results. Recently, during the finals day of Dota 2 Asia Championships, ChuaN has been spotted in the arena, cheering for his friends and ex-teammates from Newbee and Invictus Gaming.
With the dust settled over the big Chinese victory from last week in Shanghai, Vici Gaming is ready to welcome ChuaN to their ranks. He will be replacing Leong 'DDC' Fat-meng who is now moving forward, and will join LGD Forever Young. While Vici Gaming hasn’t been able to qualify to DAC 2017, LFY was the first Chinese team to claim a spot into the main event. But they finished the event in the bottom four, which might be the main reason for a mid-season roster change. DDC is replacing Lei 'White' Yipei at LGD Forever Young and will make his debut with his new team next week, at the Dota2 Professional League.

Neither VG nor LFY qualified for the upcoming Kiev Major, and up until now, the two teams are only announced to play in the Summit 7 qualifiers. There are still plenty of other LANs announced for this summer, and most likely we will get to see them both in actions, be it in qualifiers rounds or even on the mainstage.
