ASUS ROG DreamLeague #2 : iG and LGD advance from Asian group

The matches of the ASUS ROG DreamLeague #2's Asian group are now over, with iG and LGD earning a spot in the next stage. The regional groupstage continues on Monday, September 27th, with the American group.

The regional groupstage of ASUS ROG DreamLeague #2 is currently ongoing, and the four teams of each group are in pursuit of the top two positions that lead to the next  round. The participants that qualify will join the invited teams at the DreamHack Studios in November for the offline round-robin phase.

The two Chinese squads iG and LGD reigned supreme in the Asian group - Invictus Gaming managed to grab an early lead with their 2-1 victory against MVP.Phoenix, with the Koreans suffering an even worse fate against Rave in their second match. iG continued their victories against LGD and Rave, dropping only one out of the six following games to secure the first spot of the group. Despite their loss in their opening match, LGD quickly bounced back with a 3-0 victory against MVP. The second place was decided in the final match of the group, with Rave missing the qualification by just one crucial defeat.

The matches continue this Monday, October 27th, with the American group. Evil Geniuses, Cloud9, compLexity and Sneaky Nyx Assassins will cross their swords, fighting for their ticket to Sweden and Dreamhack Studios LAN groupstage.
