SyndereN is joining DotaCinema as head of eSports and will be forming a casting duo together with known profile SUNSfan. Whether that will mean tournaments coming from DotaCinema, time will tell.
In December, Troels 'syndereN' Nielsen posted on his Facebook that he was retiring from competitive Dota 2, leaving the mousesport roster. He has earlier in his career had periods in which he was not playing in the pro scene and instead focused on his studies. He remained in the scene at those times, sharing his opinions through casts or talk shows. Today DotaCinema announced syndereN as their new head of eSports. The exact nature of his role as an eSports head is a bit of a mystery but DotaCinema mentioned that details will be unveiled within the next couple of weeks.
Besides his career as a player where he, among other things won, Dreamhack twice with WHB and then mTw followed by winning EMS One with mousesports, he is also well known for his casting. After being mostly seen (or rather; heard) in the past as a co-caster alongside Toby 'Tobiwan' Dawson, he will now form a casting duo at DotaCinema together with Shannon 'SUNSfan' Scotten. Although inactive until now, SUNSfan has casted quite a bit in the past. He is a familiar voice to those following the Fails of the Week series, in which he and Reaves went through various (miss)plays sent in by the community.

Other than the statements above, DotaCinema also felt the necessity to share a word from Neil Mathisen, the owner of DotaCinema. "A word" is a very accurate description of his statement, the only content of which was the letters forming; "Cool".
