With the Autumn (Fall) Season of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive still a few weeks away, teams have some time to bring in new players into their rosters – strengthening and preparing for everything the Intel Extreme Master Cologne 2023 will throw at them. For FURIA Esports, this has included the addition of two players from ImperiaImperial Esports, after having seen both André “drop” Abreu and Rafael “saffee” Costa departing for MiBR towards the end of June this year.

Having been linked with the organisation for quite a while, Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo became the first of the main additions to the roster, ending his nearly one-and-a-half-year stay at Imperial. Having helped the team reach the IEM RIO Major as well as PGL Antwerp, the veteran is now ready to make his mark with another squad. Following FalleN from Imperial would also be Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes, who has had some fantastic showings during his past year with his previous roster.

The full FURIA Esports roster is:

Yuri “yuurih” Santos
Andrei “arT” Piovezan
Kaike “KSCERATO” Cerato
Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo
Marcelo “chelo” Cespedes

Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira (Coach)

With the play-in stage for IEM Cologne 2023 beginning on July 26th, these two new additions will have quite some time to get well-acquainted with their teammates. It will be interesting to see if they can make a difference and take FURIA Esports back to the podium at a Major once more.
