ENCE’s latest fifth player is Guy ‘NertZ’ Iluz.
ENCE has announced the latest addition to its main CS:GO roster: Guy ‘NertZ’ Iluz. The 23-year-old Israeli will be the team’s fifth player and newest member overall, having most recently played for Endpoint. This announcement comes off ENCE’s elimination from the IEM Katowice play-in stage.
ENCE’s CS:GO coach Eetu ‘sAw’ Saha said in the announcement:
We've had our eyes on NertZ for some time already, as his skills and potential are undeniable. He seems to fit the team really well, both role-wise and in terms of personality. I'm excited to welcome NertZ to the team and start working hard to reach our full potential together!
NertZ originally started playing CS 1.6 when he was just 10 years old, inspired by his brother doing the same. By the time CS:GO launched, the young player looked to join a team and compete on an international playing field, on the same level as other athletes like Spinx and flameZ. NertZ has played with Endpoint since November 2021, and will now replace Valdemar ‘valde’ Bjorn Vangsa, who departed ENCE earlier this week.
NertZ said in a statement:
For me joining an organization like ENCE feels like a crazy story. I remember back in the days when I heard the song EZ4ENCE while playing a Deathmatch, so you can understand how proud I feel now. I’m really happy to represent them.
NertZ will soon be seen playing for ENCE at ESL Pro League Season 17 in Malta, which kicks off in March. ENCE will compete in Group D against Liquid, NAVI, Spirit and Astralis. The team’s current roster consists of the following players:
- Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer
- Pawel ‘dycha’ Dycha
- Pavle ‘maden’ Boskovic
- Alvaro ‘SunPayus’ Garcia
- Guy ‘NertZ’ Iluz
The rest of the team’s roster consists of its coach sAw, analyst Maks ‘trochu’ Trocha and performance coach Urszula ‘Xirreth’ Klimczak.
