I think that this would make learning callouts a bit easier.
Maybe it would show the text for the callout under the icon that shows up or alternatively, it adds text in the top left corner (under the callout text for where you are) and have it flash a bit so it stands out more.
Valve already has callouts programmed into the game and I think this feature would help new players learn callouts just a bit faster.
