Maikelele still without a contract in NiP

Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill who was brought as a replacement after the retirement of Robin "Fifflaren" Johansson is still with the team on a trial note, but he should be signing a contract with NiP very soon.

One of the leading players of Ninjas in Pyjamas at the recently held major tournament, DreamHack Winter, Mikail ”Maikelele” Bill is still on his trial status in the Swedish organization. However, his skill and a great performance during the event has put him a very close to signing a long-term contract with NiP.

He’s an real ambassador for the brand and a damn good CS:GO-player, so we’ll of course sign him as soon as possible. - said CEO of Ninjas in Pyjamas, Per Lilliefelth.

In an interview with Aftonbladet Esport after the DreamHack Winter, Maikelele said that it's still not confirmed if he will be going with the team to the next LAN event which is being held in Aspen, Colorado:

First we have to see what happens, but if I get to go to X-Games it would be incredibly fun. But I can’t say anything about that right now.

Judging from how things are developing at the moment, one of the most pleasent surprises at the DH Winter is not far away from signing a long-term contract with Ninjas in Pyjamas:

We noticed pretty quickly that he was accepted by the team and the right man for the job, so there’s really nothing to think about. He will of course be signed as soon as possible. We’re gonna sit down with him and get the details sorted out. He’s a great person who’s always fun-loving and positive. And he’s a real ambassador for the brand and a damn good CS:GO-player.- said Per Lilliefelth.

Only a few days ago we reported that NiP had pulled out from the ESL Pro League. The team is currently taking a break from the competitions, as the recent stretch was very grueling for the players.
