ESL Pro League is ready to start tomorrow

The premier season of ESL Pro League is all set to start tomorrow with the matches of Group A.

The new season will feature three new leagues ranked by skill level, including a free entry level Open League, the semi-pro Major League, and the professional level Pro League.

The highest level, the Pro League, will feature sixteen of the best teams all over Europe battling for a $48,000 total prize pool. The teams will be split into two groups of eight for the online group stage, where the top four teams from each group will advance to the offline group stage. Then, the top four teams from the offline group stage will secure a spot in the playoffs, and the top two teams from the playoffs will be allowed to compete in the grand finals.

Here is a bracket for the Group A:

The first two playdays will be played on December 10-11 and will feature the opening matches of the Group A. All of them will be played in a best-of-three series where the winner will continue in the upper bracket, while the losers will have to look for their chance to advance from the lower bracket.

December 10th:
19.00 CET - Team Dignitas vs myKPV.de - Bo3
21.30 CET - 3DMAX vs myXMG - Bo3

December 11th
19.00 CET - Epsilon vs Penta Sports - Bo3
21.30 CET - ESC Gaming vs Natus Vincere - Bo3

Group B will have its own debut on December 17th and opening matches will be played throughout December 18th.
