DreamHack Winter 2014 is all set to begin tomorrow. The sixteen teams will battle out for the piece of $250,000 prize pool.
The sixteen teams are placed into the four groups with the four teams in each. They will be playing a GSL format, a small double elimination bracket, where the top two teams of each group will advance to the playoffs. Group stage matches will be played in best-of-one format.
The Playoffs will feature a single elimination bracket with the top eight teams from the group stages. The matches will be played in the best-of-three series, including the grand final match as well.
The map pool is similiar to the previous major event, ESL One Cologne. Teams will be playing on de_dust2, de_inferno, de_nuke, de_cache, de_mirage, de_cobblestone and de_overpass.

November 28th:
