Denial eSports win John Wick CS:GO Invitational

Denial eSports have won FACEIT's John Wick sponsored $20,000 CS:GO invitational after defeating MouseSpaz 2-0.

The North American tournament took place from October 22-24 and featured four invited teams battling for a grand prize of $10,000. Team eLevate and Area 51 Gaming were both eliminated in the quarter and semi finals, leaving Denial eSports to face off former NetCodeGuides roster MouseSpaz in the grand finals, who came into the tournament as clear favourites.

The BO3 finals started on de_season, where Denial started the half with a five round lead 10-5. After picking up five more rounds and MouseSpaz getting only two in the second half at 15-7, MouseSpaz made a slight comback making the score 15-13 before finally being shut down by Denial eSports.

The second map was de_mirage, where MouseSpaz started on the more favoured CT side. The map started with MouseSpaz picking up ten rounds compared to Denial's five, making the score 10-5 for the first half. However, Denial made an insane comeback on their CT side and managed to pick up eleven rounds compared to MouseSpaz's two, winning the map and match 16-12.
