ESWC has revealed the format for their upcoming male and female tournaments.
The event, which will be held later this year from October 29 - November 2 in Paris, France will feature 24 of the best male teams and 8 of the best female teams from around the world fighting for a $50,000 male prize pool and a $10,000 female prize pool.
The male tournament will start with four groups with six teams in each group playing in a BO1 round-robin format. The top 2 teams from each group will then advance to the playoffs, which will be played in a BO3 format.
The female tournament will be split into two groups with four teams in each group also playing in a BO1 round-robin format, where the top two teams from each group will advance to the sem-finals.
