The group stage in the European Nations Cup is over. Twelve nations will now move on to the second group stage. Not that many surprises, most of the favourite teams to win are there.
EUROPEAN NATIONS CUP ORIGINALLY HAD 24 NATIONS battling it out in an exciting group play. Last season winners Sweden went undefeated with not much trouble at all. One 5-0 game against Bosnia and Herzegovina, and two 4-1 games against Greece and Italy.

HALF OF THE TEAMS HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED and the advancing teams will go through yet another group stage, to determine who will play in the offline tournament hosted in Leipzig, Germany. There they will play for the total prize money of 50,000€, divided among the three leagues (Counter-Strike, FIFA and WarCraft 3). There is only one match that has not been played - the one between Turkey and Austria. However the outcome of that match won't make a difference, since Denmark and Poland are too far ahead for Austria to catch up.
