x17 is hosting a a 64 man tournament with a very nice prize. This is happening on Friday the 29th. Read on for more details.
The tournament is hosted by Eggy-X17 and the prize is either a new Nintendo DS or the cash equivalent which is $100. It will take place in channel X17-Nintendo on the US East server. It starts at 7:30 PM Central Time or 5:30 PM California time. That's 02:30 CET, and probably not the best time for Europeans. The tournament is called the Nintendo challenge and it's obvious that the DS is the prize intended, but you can also choose to rather have the $100. If you do it will be payed via paypal.
It will be best of one single elimination until the semifinal and final which will be best of 3. Already it looks like a lot of good gamers have entered. If you want to try your luck, then you must follow the link to the x17 forum at the bottom and sign up with your nick, real name, country and email.
