The 7th qualify tournament has been played last weekend. Once again, a lot of battles have been fought for the seek of honor and glory - or perhaps, just for a spot in the final event.

For this tourney 54 players have showed up to the battle. As described in the news about the 6th tournament » here, the number of points for each tournament depends upon the number of players showing up. In this particular case, the points system is: Winner : 180 pts, Runner-up : 133 pts, Semi finals : 101 pts, Quarter finals : 81 pts, 2nd Round : 53 pts and for the 1st Round : 22 pts.

Some famous players - as oG)JianG, iG.BunDy, BW-Mireille, 3D.Blade and the zerg player iG.KaaZ - have been on it. But as usual, there could be only one.
The final bracket was played between KaaZ and the slovakian player maix.

As you can see, both players have been in a hard time to finally achieve the finals. But surely maix is the one who deserves a special mention once although being a bit unknown, he showed his skills by beating two very good players as iG.NaranjitO and iG.StarClan - both 2-0.

The final series have been played yesterday. KaaZ won 2-0 and by doing so he gained the honor to participate into the final event, as the 7th tournament champion. He will also receive the award of $3.
