Learn how to ride the powerful Panda in the new PUBG Mobile update!

One of the newest additions included in PUBG Mobile's 3.6 update was the introduction of pandas as an in-game vehicle. Pandas are one of the strongest perks you can get in the game thanks to their versatility. However, the two-seater animal isn't easy to find in-game. In fact, there are only four places you can find pandas in Erangel, and only one in Livik. Furthermore, you can't just ride this cute animal the moment you see it. You need to tame it first.

Here's how you befriend and ride the adorable pandas in PUBG Mobile:

1. Find the panda spawn spot

Pandas, the new vehicle type in PUBG Mobile, can only be found in a few places in the game. There are two maps where players can find this cute animal: Erangel and Livik. In Erangel, players can see pandas in the four pavilions spread out on each of the four main compass points, while in Livik, players might find this animal in the updated Blomster, where a pavilion is located.

Usually, pandas reside on the pavilions' border, in little hills surrounded by bamboo forests. Normally, you can't get near these creatures as the hills are unreachable on foot. If you want to interact with the panda, you must lure them down first.

2. Grab a bamboo shoot from the feeding box near the panda's hill

Once you find the hills where the pandas reside, you can find a feeding box near the hills that you can interact with. Doing so will let you throw a bamboo shoot near the panda and lure them down from their hills. (P.S.: watch these sweet little pandas roll down to the bamboo shoot you threw).

After the panda eats the bamboo shoot, players can interact with it to tame the event-exclusive ride. After taming the panda, players can ride and dance with it using the dance emote.

Panda pros and cons in PUBG Mobile

Pandas are two-seater vehicles you and one more person can ride, just like a motorbike. However, pandas don't have the same speed as the bike; in fact, they are on the slower side of in-game vehicles. However, they have high health and can recover their health automatically when stopping and out of combat. They can also give players a height advantage when facing low-cover enemies, as they will be positioned on top of the panda.

Pandas can use the rolling form to double their speed for a certain amount of time to compensate for their overall lack of speed. However, players can't shoot their weapons when they are in this form. Be careful when riding a panda because you can be quite exposed to long-range sniping when using them.

Pandas are a strong vehicle for close combat because of their high health and regeneration. However, they can leave players vulnerable to long-range attacks because they are slow and offer no protection to the rider.
