Talon officially announced their partnership with PMSL 2024 and will have a PUBGM team in Indonesia to join the league.
Talon officially became a partnership team in PUBG Mobile Super League 2024 (PMSL 2024) and will represent Indonesia in the upcoming tournament. They are one of the 20 teams that are joining the league.
According to the press release received by GosuGamers, Entry to the PMSL 2024 was told as part of the team’s vision to represent the best talent in Southeast Asia, competing in the region’s most popular games. However, further information regarding the roster and local initiatives will be announced at a later date in 2024.
“The accessibility of mobile esports has always been an advantage that sets it apart from console or PC esports. As we have followed the state of mobile gaming, it has been clear that few esports titles have amassed such a passionate and unique following across Southeast Asia as PUBG Mobile,” said Sean Zhang, CEO of Talon.
“We want to support the amazing talent within Indonesia by providing a platform for players to showcase their gameplay, personalities, and individual brands on the regional and even global stages. We hope this will start an enduring relationship between TALON and PUBG Mobile Esports and the incredible Indonesian esports community,” Sean Zhang continued.
With a team vision of being the best team in Southeast Asia, Talon was a mainstay name in the region. They have, arguably, the strongest Dota 2 team in Southeast Asia, with all players from SEA.
Talon also has strong ties to mobile esports, with teams in Arena of Valor and Pokemon Unite. Furthermore, they also have representation in the FPS genre with teams in Rainbow 6: Siege, Overwatch 2, and VALORANT.
Seeing their campaign in the upcoming PMSL 2024 with their new system this year will be interesting.
