Riot has confirmed that the PvP autobattler Teamfight Tactics Mobile is coming to Asia Pacific in November.

Riot Games’ PvP autobattler Teamfight Tactics is officially getting a mobile launch in Asia Pacific next month. The publisher confirmed that Teamfight Tactics Mobile will launch on November 22, 2023 with cross-play and cross-progression enabled between mobile and PC platforms.

Teamfight Tactics can now be played on the go

Teamfight Tactics technically launched as an app on Android and iOS devices all the way back in 2020 for certain regions, but this is the first time its new and improved mobile version has made its way to the Asia Pacific. The strategy-fueled autobattler was conceived as a game mode for Riot’s League of Legends client back when autobattlers were popping up left and right, but the game now gets regular updates of its own.

Teamfight Tactics Mobile has players compete strategically by placing teams of League champions and items down on a grid-like game board. The objective is to outlast every other opponent on the board by earning gold and building up your team over the course of the game. The game is launching in APAC with cross-play and cross-progression enabled, which means that PC players can start playing the mobile port with all their progression intact. Mobile players will also be able to play with PC players, which hopefully makes matchmaking a non-issue.

Riot put up a few pre-registration rewards for the game leading up to its November launch, and over three million pre-registrations have already been clocked to date. That means players have already unlocked quite a few rewards at launch, ranging from emotes to a ‘Little Legends Together’ icon. At five million pre-registrations, players will unlock this adorable Bubble Tea River Sprite:

It’s very cute. Riot has also announced multiple in-game events at launch and other regional activities happening in the real world, though we’ll have to wait for more details on these events for now. Riot’s country manager for Indonesia and Malaysia, Resha Pradipta said:

We’re thrilled to share that TFT Mobile will officially launch in APAC on November 22! We've already seen incredible appetite from our community since our initial announcement and have clocked in over 3 million pre-registered users to date! [...] We already have plans to celebrate the launch with a number of exciting hyper- localized experiences for our players, including launch parties and online giveaways. We hope you are just as excited as we are to play TFT Mobile! Stay tuned for exciting activities coming soon to your region.
